Italian Grand Prix 2014, Monza - Race 13/19

As usual a button hater stewing on his own hatred trying to one up a completely innocent comment during free practice with me saying "things look better for button"... which they did considering mclaren have been at the back end of q3 or struggling to get into it all season.

No reason for a child to then come along and say "wont get better than 5th" is there. Its a bit uncalled for..and then to gloat after the race as if hes been waiting at his keyboard all weekend to say it. Sad. And speaks volumes of this forum. Full of children obviously.

I think this has a lot more to do with your view on Button rather than anyone else's.

I don't hate Button.

What is wrong with predicted where someone will finish?

Give it a rest for once.

I like Button but your posting about him is incredibly tedious now.

Overall a surprisingly exciting race. Brilliant racing from Ricciardo in particular I think.

It's like an American beauty pagent, the drivers completely ignore the question and just rant about random stuff.

I think that's a failing of how the podium interviews are conducted more than anything.

They are in front of a massive crowd of fans and the first thing you are going to want to do is acknowledge and greet them, rather than straight away answering a question to them that is thrown at you.

It's also very noticeable how much better the podium interviews are run when its conducted by somebody who actually is an experienced journalist or pundit. As such, the standard of the interviews varies quite a lot.

Anyone think if DR was in the Merc he would be champion this year? I cannot believe how good he is this year.

I wouldn't go that far, I think he could happily slot in and be on the same points as either. He's extremely good, but vet is also extremely bad this year, he can't get on with new rules and it seems he is not learning either.
