I think Alonso just expects to retire in the last few laps of each race now.

Is there some kinda loophole which lets them change parts or settings in the car when classed as a DNF? It seems suspicious how they always seem to retire before the end.

Classic 2017 race. Nothing happening for 90% of the race and then an unrealistic chance that there could be some action on the last lap and it never coming to fruition
