I've been to two "official" ocuk get-togethers and met a few others by chance or such, and that's the question always burning on my mind when the time is near to actually meeting them. Majority are not much different, if at all.Id love to meet some of the people on these forums to see what they are like in real life.
'You have to understand a lot of people on this forum have very few social skills. It's very easy to agree with people when they have no opinion of their own.'
Spot on
You're all as bad each other.
STFU and stop ruining the thread.
GTFO my thread.
There are more than one herd. By "doing what you want" you'll just find yourself in a different herd, with whom you 'fit into'.

Of course it is, but the point is that even hermits are not completely unique. We are discussing about the social aspect of our lives influencing the decisions we make, it is not necessarily the media - the OP did after all refer to another thread on these forums.Maybe. Maybe not. But it is better to be yourself and fit into the group that most resembles your views rather than do whatever your peers, colleagues or the media tell you.

This was the secondary point I was replying with.. it will seem like I am typing it all out again, so I politely ask you read the thread (you can skip the flirting) again instead.Other posts on this forum fall under "the media" sphere of influence.
Anyway my point was that if you are comfortable with the way you are why get upset by other peoples opinions?
