The other way of looking at it is the overclock is part of the bundle and if you are doing something that you in no way want to risk an overclock on or you reckon you can do it the same/better yourself...

...well you can save 0.3% of the £5299.01 by removing it ;)

Overclocking the Demolisher costs a lot more than £20 inc VAT in man hours to OC however if you fancy a stock speed system there is a slight discount available.

what motherboard is...
oh wait.
;)

good to see these back. our SR2 systems are always incredible and so much fun to overclock/configure.
I still have a hard time trying to comprehend how rapid this system is!

The customer reviews are a little..................odd? Shall we say.

LONG LIVE THE A1200

This is ok for a starter pc for a kid saving up his pocket money bit on the large side but I like my computers large that's why I still use my A1200 over this system but well worth buying for internet browsing or playing Doom II. Really recommend this. A+++++++++++++

WTF!? :D

You can't really get much better than that!

Another one:

bought this system 8 years ago and i have to say its a beast still now but my old athlon 64 is better (2.0ghz) its built really well on a plus side tho. A+++++++

Have you changed the spec?

sorry but.....what a complete and utter waste of money!

All depends what you want/need it for. For just casual gaming maybe but definatly not if you are going to be doing a lot of encoding or folding. this product is aimed at the people who want the best of the best, no question asked performance and it definatley delivers that.

Anyone spending this amout on a folding PC is an idiot.

Think that is a bit harsh tbh. It like saying anyone who buys a Porsche to drive round a track is an idiot.

It will be doing what it is good at!

No, its really not!

If you're comparing the PC to a Porsche in a folding scenario, it's like saying you're leaving the Porche revving at max while stationary watching how much BHP the engine is making. Driving it around a track would be more comparable to gaming but that doesn't seem to be a selling point going by your description.

So my previous statement stands.
