Its Coming - Ahsoka

Out of range/it’s huge/trying to workout what it is rather than going in all American.

They aren’t bombers though, at best they could take out a hyperdrive, but those could also be really well shielded.

You're not going to know until you attack it. As it happens the x wings are also armed with torpedoes.
And seeing as it's a hyperdrive ring, they're the bits you wanna shoot!

Edit: just checked and ghost is fairly heavily armed too!

I'm fairly sure the comms beforehand stated that it must not be allowed to make the jump.

Yeah and both of those were facilities that had a stupid weakness that they knew about because they had the schematics. Many Bothans died for that ;)

This was something they knew nothing about, had nowhere near the same size force. People just try and pick silly holes in things.

Some people are really strange, why they feel the need to try and defend plot holes you can pilot a death star through is beyond me, especially when they folks raising them are enjoying the series largely. Its fine to both enjoy something and point out the negative.

This is still ok, 4 episodes in and not much tension building. Given it's an 8 episode run they need to pull their fingers out. Quite like Ray Stephenson as a dark determined Jedi who seeks order above all else (RIP Ray :(). Nothing to massively dislikebut nothing to get the tingles over either.

There are plenty of Plot holes in just about every series or film you watch. They're everywhere for the sake of the writing or story. Sometimes you just need to laugh and forget it to carry on enjoying the story.

True enough, seems to be more prevalent with modern writing though.

Sometimes people just think things are plot holes that aren't. Why didn't they shoot it? Because they knew they didn't have the tools to take it on.

Now Rey finding a dagger that happened to follow the contours of a crashed death star to point to where she needed to go and then somehow the thing still had power, that's a plot hole.

I just don’t see that as a plot hole. The thing is huge and in their panic they’d have little time to get in range or know where to hit it, even then no guarantee their weapons would scratch it.

I was probably more bugged about them being in its path and not all being toast.

They'd already deployed their x foils ready for combat. That's not what you do if you're in a mad panic!
