Prices are pretty much as expected for a new gen card.

I remember paying ~£320 for a x800pro when they first came out, and the XTPE's were £399+...

So really nothing shocking here.

I won't be buying one mind, i'll wait til Crysis is out and then move to DX10 ;)
 
I thought these things used less power than a x1900xt, how come its 500w min and recomended 600w psu.
 
So I'm upgrading from a 7800GTX so I've resisted the temptation of 7900GTX and the 7950GX2 etc, need something to play all my games at 1920 x 1200 MAXXED (Dell 2407) :)

why are the new cards not using GDDR4? even some of the the ATI DX9 cards use GDDR4.

for the money they are looking for the new 8800 cards id be expecting GDDR4, thank god im not buying them!
