Theres been about 1mm of snow here in Stoke On Trent even though all the schools have closed and there isn't one bit of snow on the roads.

Where abouts in stoke are you, need to see the girlfriend tomorrow but not going to risk my neck, she reckoned it was quite bad.

Woot \o/ finally some decent snow i guess...just had a lovely snowball fight with some people at work on the terrace of my office building here in the docklands:D.

Mind you took me nearly 2 hrs to get into work via tube and DLR:p, this country really cannot cope with a tiny amount of snow. The sidewalks are near impossible to walk on, quite slippery and with shoes on it doesnt make it any easier.

Saying that though, was cool having a snowball fight though...guess thats one good thing about snow:D

Don't you normally wear shoes when walking on the pavement?

:p

snowed here in Belgium man it was a fun drive to work...

Skidding everywhere. There is a hill I have to go up and everyone was about 15 metres apart going slow then of course this eejit (for want of a better sweary word) decided he couldn't wait and sped up the wrong side of the road. I was praying for him to crash but sadly he didn't he just slew into the kerb and over the pavement it was outside a school just lucky there were no kids about.

Are some people born stupid?

Quite thick snow here in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, pics taken about 8:30 this morning. About 6 inches at the deepest. Looks like the snow has almost stopped now.

One of my cats wasn't overly impressed with it, he was only outside for about 2 minutes! My dad said the dogs loved it when he took them for a walk this morning though, rolling about and crashing through drifts! :D

still hardly any here, had about hours worth of light snow, prolly 1cm on the ground if that now, and most of it melting away

I live in Wigan and I have no snow on the ground! Only the odd speckle of snow but nothing to cheer about.

Yet 15miles south in Manchester its deep! Whats that about?

Just my luck! :(
