Anyone know what the roads are like in Brum? Someone reckons they are too bad to get to work and I think he may be telling porkies.

I'm hopeful all the snow is going to melt now, not much in the city center, but I had a cycle out to Alderly Edge and the snow is still deep there, but the roads, even back roads are quite clear.

It was trying to snow though.

Just started here in Bristol and its coming down small but hard. Didn't rain for a second before it started, maybe it will settle as there is lots more forecast

Still nothing here in Bridgwater, but GF just said snow has started in Bristol, and she'll be getting a train here soon!

I notice on the rain today site that there's a small pocket where there's no snow, but gets heavy a little later.

We shall see. >:]

They are fine, i actually drove from home to Brum when it was bad, had a bout 4 inches at home, in Birmingham there was a light dusting at best

Oh wunderbar. It's snowing again and it's already settling on the top of the hill I need to drive over tomorrow. If this carries on all night, I'm going to miss another day of work.

Coventry was just wet today, i was so dissapointed. Sure there were bits of melting snow about but nothing serious.
