It's snowing

work cancelled :( should have left about 15mins ago. Now totally bored and awake. Sick of watching tv and surfing (been doing that since midday) and have no idea what I can do for probably 5hours or so before I have any chance of being tiered.

Snowing in Plymouth :/

Totally bizarre. Sat in the office up near Derriford watching it snow reasonably heavily all afternoon until my car was totally covered as was the carpark. Watched the traffic choas, left at 5pm and it took AN HOUR to get about 0.5 miles.

Then... I drove the rest of the 4 miles without any problems and for half the journey - only to another part of Plymouth - there had been no snow at all

Hmm looks like it's moving towards me too. BBC weather reckons a whole day of ssnow tomorrow too. :D

It does annoy and confuse me though, metcheck thinkis it's going to be clear tomorrow and above freezing. BBC reckon it's going to be +2 tomorrow and the rest of the week yet go to the 24 hour forecast and it thinks it will be 0... Make your minds up!

I assume it's to do with using different models for different time periods (Metcheck are really bad at that as their 7 day forecast can be totally different to the same day on their 14 day forecast...) but still :p

I'm on North Hill and it was snowing really heavily, but it doesn't look like it, was sleeting before so the floor was all slushy.

It was so bad for the first half a mile it was impossible to drive anywhere without the DSC light flashing like mad. Couldnt get up a hill on a main road either

Yeh, my housemate said her boyfriend got turned away by the police as he was coming towards Plymouth from Exeter, had to go back and get the train as the road was too bad? :/
