It's snowing

I'm wishing and praying to at least 5 different deities that the snow would stop right now and my flight NOT delayed or cancelled tomorrow morning at Heathrow. I don't suppose anyone knows the procedures and tolerance airports allow in severe weather like this?

Heathrow you should be fine, heated runways etc, it's the smaller airports that you get the problems. Anyway they are likely to only get an inch or so of snow so I doubt there will be problems at smaller airports either. (Coming from someone whos plane was the LAST to be cancelled a couple of years ago due to snow at Luton :()

6 inches in under an hour where i work and then another 4 in the next hour, its still snowing now too

Couple of inches fell last night and according to the radar there's plenty more in the pipeline. Wee guys gonna have a ball today.

Was snowing earlier. But now it has stopped. :( :(

According to weather it should start again though. :D

Started snowing for a bit today then started raining :(

Manchester is supposed to get heavy snow tonight - unfortunate as I'm flying from Manchester airport tomorrow. Fingers crossed there's no problems! (although I'm more worried about trains being cancelled at the moment :p)

Well, at least they didn't cancel the flight and I'm in Vienna right now. I must say, Heathrow is getting more and more of a shambles every time I use that wretched airport. Anyway, tons of snow here in Vienna but sunny right now. Looking forward to see what a real snow storm looks like and not the amateurish stuff we have in UK :p
