Been snowing in Derby since about 11am off and on. Started to settle this afternoon and is getting heavy out there. Nice drive home...

Our weather man has just said to expect snow on Friday.
It's snowing! Wasn't expecting snow here in Surrey, forecast didn't say anything about snow either.

It sounds like we're the only part of the north east without snow this morning, and I was rather surprised to hear the radio that the police were advising against unnecessary travel.
Well, I say without snow, we've actually got what I'll refer to as God's dandruff - some large flakes coming down, but you could go outside and dodge them at the moment, so it's unlikely to do anything.

Cold but no snow. There is a snow warning but it's Kent and Sussex that are most likely to get it.

we got hit bad last thursday and friday, got about 8" here and down aroud Boston they got 2 feet.
Islands are smack bang in the middle of a crap load......started slightly at 0700 hours and is expected to get worse as 1000 hours comes and goes. It's coming down heavy already so not sure how much more we can expect, I still have to get into work tonight!
