It's snowing

Not if you're skiing in the alps. Snow in the UK would cause travel issues getting over there.

Got my 2 ski holidays booked too, but would love to test out my new skis on some UK slops this weekend!

I'm going Snowboarding the weekend after this one... Might unzip my snowboard a little sooner though and try and find a hill :p

Got a light dusting here, enough to make everything a bit white. Some of my friends about 30 miles away in Peterhead are saying it's much worse though.

The wind has really picked up here, just north of London. Really throwing it down now. Going to be tough on untreated roads in the morning if this freezes. Glad I left work just before 5. I can see more rural schools being closed.

Snowing heavily as I left work in Orpington at 5PM, but as it's been raining since lunchtime, the ground was sodden, so I didn't think it would settle.

By the time I'd made to the ten minute walk back to my car, this was what it was like :S

Then took me two hours to get home (Rochester - usually a 30-40 minute drive). Garden is quite well covered.

Becuase my drive is steep, decided to park on the road so I don't get stuck. Thing is, our house is on the outside of a curve, which people come flying around most of the time. I'm now keeping half an eye out of the window every time a car comes past hoping they don't go wide

Quite surprising really, I really had expected nothing more than a few flurries after all the hype, but the M25/A2 were properly covered (gg Kent gritters). Already slowing down here though, so I guess just lots of ice tomorrow morning.
