First proper snow for the year I would say the other day was abit of a dusting!

I hear that there's folk trying to fly into Aberdeen from Amsterdam since Friday but have been stuck at Schipol. KLM have washed their hands of them, even though their luggage is still checked in and they won't hand it back. Bad over there apparently as well.

First two images are of yesterday when I measured at 14" in the back garden. Toddler for scale. Third image is lunch time today when I went out to clear the drive again.

edit: Still snowing. I'm 8 miles from Aberdeen centre.

Was like a white van graveyard on "our" hill earlier today

The fact there were already a number stranded didn't seem to deter more trying ...

This is why I always keep my camping gear fully stocked. At least I can boil water and cook in a powercut.

I used to cycle to work at a building at the bottom of Mucklow's Hill.

Was great going, not so much coming back!
