It's snowing

6 inches where I live, not looking forward to leaving for work at 7am tommorow :(

just nipped out to measure ours and we've got almost exactly 6 inches in the back garden, lieing on the patio furniture and garden walls etc..

Ive got snow over 2 feet deep where ive been trying to keep my drive clean however. Does that count ? :D

..just to prove a point to our clients down South who are not at work due to a few cm of snow

Snowfall has been rather random round Norfolk today. Personally didnt get a great deal while out and about and had afew vans get back this evening totally caked in snow due to blizzard conditions in places. Anyhoo have some pictures, took my camera to work today in the hope I had a nice little countryside jaunt. I failed though as the batteries were dead so phone pics shall have to do.

I recently got a lift from a friend who has a freelander. .. it seemed worse on the ice/snow ... not sure how that works...

still all this snow would be nice if i had a job to miss..

Just have to re-enforce the southern jessy-ness accusations here :p

At home in the good ol' north for Christmas, fair amount of snow, we live at the bottom of a rather large hill.

Sainsbury’s man comes down hill and not only apologises for being late with the delivery, but gives us £10 voucher. We feel obliged to get our shovels and help Sainsbury’s man up the hill as he was struggling a bit.

Cue my coming back to the south, to return to University. Far less snow than the north and most roads are nicely gritted. Sainsbury’s man doesn't even try to come, and cancels my order completely, wont even re-schedule!

I rest my case
