Just spend a couple hours clearing our driveway with the rest of the family, am aching like a bitch.

i am happy for you all enjoying this kind of weather and so much snow but damn you cant imagine how warm it is across the continent . It was so warm last week we were going out in t-shirts and i had thoughts going to the beach for a dive...crazy weather

Had a foot in west Reading in the sticks.

I had to finally dig my car out yesterday. Took me 3 hours!

dug mine out on Thursday and drove over to pangbourne and up pangbourne hill in my corsa with no problems. I don't know what all the fuss has been about with people not being able to get to work recently.

I don't think so, Manchester, Stoke, Midlands....all had a lot of snow.

Really? I think we had about 3"-4" in stoke. Not exactly the 15+" everybody else seems to be getting.

I want to see my foot disappear!!

yes it should be a lot colder , at least 10 degrees. 26 degrees on new years eve is 20 degrees above average for December...go figure

Went for a walk in Darlington at 8 this morning after a fresh 4 or 5 inches of snow fall. It was lovely, went through the park where the snow hasn't been cleared and it was over a foot deep in places, very crisp and peaceful

My snow is not good snow, its impossible to form snow balls or make snow men, its too fluffy.
