It's snowing

Was fairly heavy here earlier and the roads were like ice rinks. My missus called me from work this morning to tell me that she had crashed at low speed into the back of a neighbours car at the junction at the bottom of our street.

'I had the 4x4 system switched on and everything but it when i pressed the brakes it didn't work'.

It was a whiteout this morning here, totally white on the ground again. Doesn't look like the roads have been treated yet so there's a 1/2" of packed slush on the roads that will likely freeze solid overnight. Tomorrow's commute will be fun.
 
We've had rain and snow falling since early hours of this morning, hope it doesn't settle as it's forecast, as i have driving school for the next two weeks :)
 
Anyone know what it is like in Coventry at the moment and whether you are meant to be getting much snow? The forecasts all contradict each other and I have a friend who needs to drive there tomorrow from South Wales.
 
Supposed to be snowing today and tomorrow up my neck of the woods but no signs yet. Not too fussed as I have 2 days in the office so I will dodge the worst.
