It's been raining in London all day so far, any snow that does fall will just turn into immediate slush.

I'd love to be proved wrong but I'd put money on no real snow settling here.

Been rainy and gloomy all day here in macclesfield ( cheshire ) but just had a good 15 mins of snow, so seems the colder air has arrived. Its stopped now.

Its far to warm/wet to stick unless prolonged so not worried.

According to the Met office we'll have 3 solid hours of snow starting at 5... I highly doubt it will settle

Raining more heavily now in Essex, but still 6C. Heading back home towards Gatwick now, but I think it'll be sleet (if that) later on...

Its not even cold atm never mind snow. I sometimes wonder if weather forecasters are so risk averse nowadays they'll say its going to a hurricane when there is only a stiff breeze.

We have a tiny bit of sleet here in Knutsford and its resulted in half the office stating if it gets worse they're going home.

Similar here though heavy snow from around 4.30-5pm through to 8-9pm - we are having the heavy rain and temperatures aren't dropping as fast as predicted so not so sure on the snow.
