It's snowing

The coverage model has like the lightest possible shade for snowing that it could have before it wasn't snowing :s gonna be interesting to see how it pans out as the models have been reluctantly dragging around towards a slightly colder/snowier outcome to the end of the week.

EDIT: Bit of a bump on the 12th on the charts for London now - coinciding with a reasonably cold air mass. As someone else put it the model output at the moment is "volatile" to say the least.

Coming down heavy here in Houghton-le-Spring, North East, next to Durham/Washington/Sunderland. :D

I'm about 40 miles North of you and have...rain. Lots and lots of rain.

Had a good hour or so of moderate snowing, but nothing settled as it's not that cold. Still, was nice to walk in the snow and claim to be a survivor of the blizzard of February 2017!

been having light stuff just north of Southampton this morning, but wouldn't really call it snowing.

It did actually snow here, big flakes and all, but it didn't lay not last night nor this afternoon either. Forgotten how pretty snow falling really is its been so long since we had any.

We had really bad snow today - counted 48 snow flakes per hour - good job it didn't land down south or they would have come to standstill.

Also temp has plummeted to 2C

So what happened to this -12c and heavy snow that was forecast :rolleyes:

I hate these non winters.

I'm the opposite. I like mild winters as my heating bills are cheaper. It tried to snow here in Darlo yesterday but it didn't take. Roll on summer!

Today's weather has been all over the place. I've seen sun, rain, sleet, hail, wind, the lot.

Go home weather, you're drunk.
