It's there actually anything (fantasy/sci fi) to watch on prime?

For me it's just too complicated. Dark is the other one. I want to like it. But I just get lost in the information overload

I've added some of the other stuff to try

Wheel of time was pretty good IMO.
The usual candidates call it woke of time.

Its not a good accurate book series copy, but then what good TV/film ever is.

Have you watched clarksons farm, not your main criteria clearly but very good.
Likewise Bosch

Assume you have watched Picard?

Others worth looking at :
Vikings
Goliath

Tried Picard. Didn't like it. Maybe it's because Patrick Stewart felt so old? Or story was a bit "meh" but didn't get far.

Err, no, it doesn't. It was cancelled mid-run.

There are three more books that actually wrap up the story properly.
Tomato tomatoe :) I've read all the books, but its not like the series didn't get a proper ending. The last books are set decades later when half the main characters are dead or MIA.

The series only wraps up one of the story arcs, and ends like a typical series cliff-hanger, with the Mars fleet heading out to Laconia. It was cancelled part-way through, however you spin it.

The books properly wrap up the whole over-arching storyline of the series, and fills in lots of details of what happened in earlier seasons.

Plus the books are pretty good pulpy sci-fi....enjoyed them much more than the TV show.

On the books we are in agreement, its one of few book series I have read multiple times

Something like this would have to be really bad for me not to like it.

Its not like a as good as the good GoT or arcane. But definitely an 8/10 for me. Better than witcher as I can actually follow it.
Probably similar to last kingdom in my ranking

Galadriel helps too! ;)

Im another one for the Expanse, absolutely loved the books and the TV Show is also outstanding. Who knows, they could even get a 7th series a decade down the line.

There's been rumours of a new Stargate franchise being greenlit after a 12 year gap since Amazon bought out MGM.

There's always hope that The Expanse could get a 7th series in a similar manor?

I started it but got distracted and then heard about the cancellation. Tough to go back to a show when you know it'll end abruptly.
It doesn't end abruptly, it ends at a a natural pause in the books timelines.

As stated above there's a 30 year jump between book 6 (where the tv show ended) and where book 7 begins.
