Where I live it was about as hot as it ever gets - then this morning about as heavy rainfall as I ever see.

I don't function too well when it's too hot but all I want is some steady weather so I can plan things. We are both quite busy so can't usually do things at the drop of a hat. But planning things outdoors here is a nightmare. Guess we have to just keep planning something in, so if it is nice we can go ahead with it - if not, do something else.

Looks like a weekend of gaming ahead going off the forecast.

Unbearbly boiling this morning, then comfortably cool with a breeze, and suddenly a monsoon hit (well, it looked like one). Torrential rain that made the high-rises in the distance have the air of an Indian province about them, with the way they were rising through the mist (and looking much nicer than usual).
