It's too hot :(

Sat here now dripping with sweat, head to toe. Sweating so much there's a small puddle around me.

Good tempo run though 8 miles in 60 minutes. You people! :p

My bathroom toilet seat has been warm all day, that's how hot it is.

Either that or someone has been sitting on it throughout the day

Sat in a very pleasant 23C. The air con has even detected where I am in the room and is keeping the air from blowing on me. I love technology. It’s easy to forget how hot it still is outside.

28c here still.

Dunno why there is an extreme heat warning for this area (are these things in vogue now?) temperatures aren't looking exceptionally higher to what we've had in the past.
Isn't it because of having back to back days of high temps? I always took the alerts to just make people take appropriate action for health reasons.

Good way to help with it is the way I seen Aussies deal with high temps, just soak a towel and drap it around the back of your neck and shoulders.

Some of this drier heat lately reminded me a lot of the 2003 European heatwave. I was holiday in Majorca at the time and I remember the outside thermometer said 47c and all the local people were saying it was too hot. It was pretty unbearable. I haven't been to many hot countries, but that was pretty intense for me. Put me off going back there lol. I didn't mind the weather in Portugal though during the summer, as they seem better equipped than UK with air conditioners and the design of their homes and hotels to deal with heatwaves. I wonder if here in the UK we will have to consider that in the future.

We've had back to back days of 30C here before - this is the first time they've issued an extreme heat warning and it is nothing like what I'd consider extreme heat :s
