Autumn has finally arrived windy gusty and it actually rained last night! Was beginning to forget what it looked/sounded like. I've finally had to give up the shorts and put on trousers I almost made it to october just a few days short!

Almost made it there 1980-1981, but wimped out at Scranton CA, it was 100f there.
We were going from Vegas to San Francisco, but I headed East back to Nevada, then North before aiming West again toward Sacramento, I like it hot, but I like living too!

My hands and feet are already back to being unbearably cold and aching most of the time. The drop from a few days ago to now has been dramatic to say the least. 20c/12c to 12c/7c. Couldn't it just be a bit more gradual?

Blimey. A couple massive rumbles of thunder there in Southampton made me jump out my sleep.

Edit 7 mins later - and here's the biblical rain, that's a bit heavy.

I thought there was an explosion, it was that ******* loud. Scared the bejesus out of the dog as well :/

Had the rain, not the thunder. Though I accidentally slammed a cupboard door at 2am so if it woke anyone we definitely had thunder.

Lots of rain and wind at the weekend not only saw a rainbow but a double one

Its supposed to get really warm by the end of week could hit 20c+ (warm for the time of year) time to break out the shorts again!

Finally temps are golden, no need for jumper or heating, and can sleep under covers without sweating.

Room temp 17-19C now.

Half Ten at night and 25C, got all the windows open and still feels too hot. Whats this nonsense about needing heating?

A balmy day yesterday and same expected today and tomorrow, the mercury hit 21 degrees yesterday which was very nice. Got the grass cut - felt like spring!
