It's too hot :(

Played football for an hour and now you could probably get away with selling me in a supermarket as a tomato. :o

My bedroom is east facing so when I get home at around 7am I have to wait for the sun to pass over the house before I can even start sleeping, this is with blackout curtains as well! I can't even open the window because all the noise from the road filters through into the bedroom. It's not nice. :p

I'm convinced that blackout curtains make better radiators, I measured the temperature of mine the last time it was really warm, it was 45 degrees.

They do get pretty toasty, I guess because they're thicker they hold more heat in or something. Also am I the only person here who's still sleeping with a proper duvet in this weather? :D

The humidityyyyy. There needs to be a thunderstorm or something.

It is very grey outside at the moment.

Had a few of those, last night and this evening. Wish it would rain for longer a few heavy showers aren't enough. Its actually cool outside now, have the windows open but heat is slow to dissipate indoors.

Just watching the local news, a few houses set on fire and one person hit last night.

We're in a listed building, denied permission for proper AC. Some exec have portable units. :( i'm melting.

Its about time schools had AC fitted as standard. It was like a blast furnace in there today, just like every summer. Flat roofs, lots of concrete around and you're dying from the heat.

I've been working 9hrs in this moving offices/desks/chairs and fridges etc from one site to another, not nice lifting in this heat :(

That has to be the worst nights sleep I've had in a while.

Hot as hell and muggy. The the thunderstorms started, which seemed to go on for hours.
But the best part was the rain and the HAIL!
It got so bad that I had to close the bedroom windows, because the hail was bouncing off my window sill .

Last night was too hot, the humidity was way too high. I don't usually mind the heat but that was uncomfortable.

Yeah, I was swimming in my sweat before waking up to take a pee. Had to bring my fan up from downstairs as that was ridiculous. Thought I left my windows closed as the curtains weren't moving at all, nope they were wide open.

Been raining on and off since early hours, despite the temp increasing since then, it feels so much cooler. Low humidity makes such a difference.

The hottest part of the UK was Kent at 32 degrees, meaning most of you guys possibly just got to 30 and everyone is complaining. It was a lovely day yesterday, just a shame it won't stay like it. We missed the thunder ad lighting last night too annoyingly, it appears west london went through the gap. :(
