It's too hot :(

My friend is at hospital for her routine eye appt. She noticed there's heating on!! She opened a window backing onto the waiting area. The receptionist came round and closed it. To a chorus of sighing. Every one is feeling the heat. Why on earth do hospitals have the heating on? Esp in a clinic with appts? How much money is wasted this way NHS?

Old people.

Mon/Tue next week forecast for 33/34 here in Nottingham. Yippee...
We get back from Lanzarote on Sunday to nice 34 degrees Monday and Tuesday, guess I’m going to be sat on the settee with the aircon blaring out working.

Been high 30s since we got here so I wanted to get home to some nice cool weather with rain, to say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Was out on the bike at 6:15am this morning and it was lovely... back home and indoors by 9:30. Popped out to the postbox at lunch and wow, was it hot. I can definitely recommend setting a nice early alarm if you need to fit some exercise in.

I don’t envy anyone without air con next week. It’s the near 20C nighttime temperatures that’ll make it worse.

At least the next couple of days look ok and then mid week it chills out.
