The problem with storms and the bone dry ground is that you get flash floods because the ground can’t absorb the rain. The problem with this heatwave isnt the level of heat but the length of time its here. We are going to need a REALLY wet autumn to replenish the amount of water we have lost so I honestly cannot wait for Monday and the predicted storms!
Stay in the basement and play red head redemptionIm ginger, I ani't going outside
Why do that when folk can just moan and complain instead.Jesus wept. Just switch off the TV and enjoy the nice summer.

struggling comms room AC
Getting there on public transport was bad enough during normal summers, no way I’d use the Tube at the moment.
Yeah, I'm loving this. I get it, I certainly wouldn't be if I didn't have air-con, but... I do... so :thumbs_up:Finally get a proper UK summer and everyone's complaining about it. So very British!
Yeah nice is 22c not 32c+ in my worldBecause it's not nice, it's bloody awful.
Drought, fires, loss of wildlife, loss of flora, restless children, tetchy adults, abhorrent government, struggling comms room AC and sweaty balls.
Big difference is that your accommodation will have AC I assume. No ac in homes in UK means no escape from the heat. It's easy being in the States, for example, when you move from ac in car to ac in shops to ac in house.giving me a base tan for Rhodes in a few weeks where it never drops below 25 Celsius for the whole three Weeks we are there
