It was 17c in the bedroom last night, still just a thin sheet and still felt warm enough, think my body has forgot how to feel cold.

Fri for us saying 13c and 8c night this will be a test to see if I can last the night without the duvet.

My room is still 23C, taking an age to cool down.

I can now wear t-shirts without sweating now at least, so getting there.

Yeah it's weird, I still have the fan on at work even though it's 17C outside. Our buildings retain heat really well, which is very bad news for future summers.

Still Indian summer here with us at 17c, though tomorrow we drop to 14, can't wait to get a bit of that. Sick of the heat after 4 months of it.

I don't think 17C in September really classes as an "Indian summer". The only proper Indian summer I can think of recently was in October 2011 when the temperatures hit 29C.

Wow I don't remember that, that's mental for October, hope we don't get an Indian summer then. I also always associated the term with India lol too didn't know it was referring to native American Indians.

To be fair, I didn't either till I read that. But yes, an Indian summer is a period of abnormally hot weather for later in the year. 17C is kind of normal for mid Sept.
