It's too hot :(

My lawn is holding up as left it long and a massive amount of dew on a morning, must be hard work for my mole can see the piles in the border but they have to go deeper with the hard ground I think

Currently it says 16 degrees, it’s cloudy and stiff north easterly breeze. Really doesn’t feel like June at all, feels like April. Heating kicked in this morning as it dropped below the 18 Celsius it’s set to.
Needs to warm up. Not seen more than 22 Celsius yet here in East Lancs. No rain since beginning of May.

Definitely getting warm. Getting far too tempted to buy a portable AC unit, though it's going to be difficult to use (running the hose somewhere suitable) in the room where I'd need it the most! I love having an energy efficient house, but once you accidentally let all the heat in, it's hard to get out!

Team natural, no pesticides checking-in so no mow is doing the job of collecting the dew, the dandelions have gone, just got daisy's and buttercups, my mole is still in the border's but using his hills to fill my pots
Wall to wall sun for seems like forever now

Today is the first day this year that I've turned mine on, just 20 mins ago. I think it was more about the heat my PC was kicking out playing games though, but I guess it needed the ambient temp to be higher to then be pushed over the top. Mind you, I'm not quite cold... so it didn't need to be on long.

Yesterday was borderline hot, my weather station has a shielded remote temp sensor placed in the shade, that peaked at 23.4!

I fitted a ceiling fan earlier this year as the Mrs is getting hot flushes, that is working wonders, just on the lowest speed it’s enough to have kept the AC units in the cupboard a bit longer and nice falling asleep with a bit of air wafting by, way better than a stand fan.

it ain't really hot yet other than in the car where it turns into a damn sauna.

One of the best things about a convertible is the instant loss of heat as you open the top.

30C in my gym in the sun. I prefer 5C.

Saves on heating, dehumidifiers etc and not hot enough to need much air con. Have just used 0.5kwh keeping my gaming room cool so far this month.

Yea I caved and bought one :D now the eternal struggle of where to run the hose as the room layout where the PC is won't allow me to drape it through this window.

It's only 21ºC outside but this room is already at 23.5ºC and it's climbing, even with the breeze from outside.
