It's too hot :(

We parked at the monument and did a circlular returning via the back of Nelson, I think this was the Falkland memorial piece they have at the moment, it looked great from a distance.

You're right it is the Falklands memorial, the Royal Armouries did a quick You Tube video here: https://youtu.be/1lJCAoBEM3Q

In typical British style, we had 2 days of mild weather and now it looks like week is going to be rubbish. It didn’t get above 14c here today. Tomorrow looks to be even colder

That's you over in the east. It's been totally different here in the west.
Its been weeks since it felt less than 20c

Yeah. It’s the constant wind coming in off the North Sea that’s ruining summer so far for us

I watch the weather a lot. And a lot of friends in Stamford, lincs. Some have even had the heating on. The cloud rolls in every day. Sometimes it gets to me here.
But by midday it's ways full sun, but you guys still have it.

Many times it's been 14c there and 23c here. But it's fun sun so feels like upper 20s.

Ive been watering my wild flower patch twice a day every day Because it dries out that quick

Had fair amount of cloud past week, when its cloudy the temp and feel is pretty good.

As soon as sun comes out thought, feels like I am in a conservatory.

Of course if I was facing east instead of west and in the country side, near coast etc. I would probably love the sun.

For those those ( like me ) summer is a double edged sword.

Love the lighter evenings and the higher temps . Being able to drive home in lighter conditions in evenings is so much better than the misery of mr winter ice and constantly seeing miss I’ve got a big car , I’m going to drive around with my full beam lights on because I have no idea how to use a car properly

Also you can’t beat a proper barbecue

But…..

Working at home ( home office ) the main window faces the sun so in the day even when the blinds are closed the room temperature goes up to to 7000 million degrees
I have to have the doors shut because I have customers confidential information on my PC screen which I don’t want people to see ……. With no air conditioning the room becomes a nuclear furnace .

Fixed it for you.

Spent way too long sunday doing just that. And they're banned in the SW (still)
Actually I think everyone is the water pressure is really low on sunday everyones either watering the garden washing their cars or filling pools
Might this be the first cloudy afternoon in 4 weeks? Hope not! :(
Wall to wall sunshine here (SE). Warm outside bloody hot in the greenhouse and freezing at night! Heating went on again last night!
