I'm hoping we have a cool July as my mum is going to Canada for 3 weeks and i'm having her cat to stay with me at my house while she's gone,

which means windows and doors will have to be kept closed at all times

Ah, got my usual three runs this week. I may go a little earlier in the morning to avoid a bit of the heat! Anything above 22 or so and I just don’t enjoy it at all.

You’re right though, this may be ‘it’ for all we know and we have a miserable wet summer etc (I hope!) but I get the feeling it’s going to be a scorcher again.

Summer started very late this year IMO so only 3 months til September.

Perfect temperature for me though today and the wind is a lovely cool breeze.

I might finally be able to start wearing summer dresses again rather than my black leggings and my cashmere Cardigan! Lol!

To be fair, this appears to be something of a little heatwave. Forecast for round here (Liverpool) shows temperatures dropping off early next week.
