Can’t remember who mentioned this, but there’s been no new major reservoirs built in decades apparently.

Yeah I did hear last year that we didn't have anyway near what we should have, thought they might of done something during the year but then again I suppose I'm not shocked nothing has been done.

Today around here is low 20's, overcast with some sun at times, much prefer it to the heat and blazing sun of the last week. I am biased though, I own an 18 year old dog and with his age he's at more risk of heatstroke.

I know people like the sun and heat but I’m glad it’s going to rain tomorrow. The vegetation needs it and supposedly rain wash’s pollen away Our eyes/ noses need it

The day after it rains, the pollen is worse for me. As the pollen falls off with the rain. When puddles etc evaporate, the pollen goes into the air.

This happened to me. Had a splash of rain last night and the humidity and pollen? It's horrible today. And I never get hay-fever unless it's bad!

Had to come back to Lincolnshire today.. And pollen here is even worse!

It tried to rain today though didn't do very much at all. A couple of spots here and there and that was it. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and there's rumours of thunderstorms, so I expect it to completely miss us like it almost always does. I do love a good thunderstorm
