It's too hot :(

This was Zaragoza, northern spain last week:

I can't imagine it's going to be too long until we start regularly seeing stuff like this closer to home. The last few summers have seen some crazy downpours in the UK.
Isn't this partly down to the fact that the region hasn't had any sizeable rainfall for nearly two years, as such the ground basically just could soak up the water quickly enough?

just looked at the temps for the next few day .. and it's been this way for a while .. any where above Birmingham your looking at 9-17c it's july ?? atm here it's 17c with no heat till fri when it does 20c ..
i've booked these 2 weeks off every yr for the last 15-20 .. and it's getting cooler wtf is going on and don't say climate change .. or it would be getting hotter .. not wetter and cooler ..
i've got to cook brisket for 30 people starting thur night for fri day ..not looking forward to sitting outside over night .. might have to break out the wifi temp probes .. rant over thx you :p

It's climate change. It makes for more unsettled weather patterns, and more extremes of temperature (both hot and cold).

Absolutely freezing that wind. Rained all ******* day. Gardens gone from rock hard ground to soggy mess.
Get me to Rhodes or Kos 35-44 highs and 26-31 lows. Absolutely beautiful. Been there when its been 43 and its fine.

such a nice morning, suns out with nice cool breeze perfect

I noticed Seville is 40c plus for about two weeks, when I last checked the forecast. That's torture!

I'm off to Girona (Spain) in September, and hope it is no higher than high 20s. Anything above 30c us just unnatural.
