It's too hot :(

The only thing making it feel like summer are the really light evenings!

I've been finding it the same! I don't know if it's because of how damned windy it is, but you'd think we were having some milder weather in mid spring. Cloud , rain, wind, cloud, rain, wind. It just seemed so endless. :(

Looks like an ok day tomorrow, but if I was being picky I'd like it a touch warmer (mid 20's isn't too much to ask for peak summer), then it's back to the endless rain. 2/3 of summer done soon and it still feels like I'm waiting for it to begin.

I'd love to know the total sun hours since June because there's no way it's anything less than way below average.

Lucky you in the 20s here finding it bit hot, would love to know what the record rainfall for July is . it's been relentless here like every few hours for few days now

surprisingly the lawn was dry enough for a quick zap when i returned from work and the heavens opened as i put the mower away, its been really pleasant at work 19 to 22 c no watering needed when i get home , not saying i want this to go on forever though, 22c with random showers would do me with a warm wall to wall sun day thrown in and a better surf forecast

I'll gladly swap as long as it's sunny. As someone who suffers with depression and SAD I'm utterly dreading this winter if summer continues like this.

That weather forecast is depressing.

I'd up sticks and move down south mate it sounds like its messing with your mental health. Bone dry here and temps 20+ day after day after day and its almost always sunny and even if the air isn't hot the sun beating on the roofs is and everywhere I go its too hot indoors have a fan blowing right now and its just about bearable. Wish I had your weather to be honest I'd love a bit of rain, any rain the plants certainly would and I'm tired of getting the hose out

48C in Italy and 44C in Spain forecast this week
Right through into next week its unrelenting!

Like last summer we seem to be getting hit by westerlies weather (like the west usually get) and it makes summer so much more pleasant, cant believe I can still sleep under covers in middle of july this year.

I'm off to Girona (Spain) in September, and hope it is no higher than high 20s. Anything above 30c us just unnatural.
I was there last September and it was around 26 or 27, which was quite nice for cycling. I was there a couple of weeks ago and it was 34... which wasn't so nice...

Now that kind of summer we don’t need again.
Yea last summer was a bit of a nightmare. First was the crazy heatwave where we hit 37C near Liverpool. Then we were visiting a few countries in Europe and it was 34C+ most days, and we were looking forward to coming home to cool down but when we got back the weather was still 31C for a few days. Absolutely awful :(

It is. Sadly my physical health is even worse. That along with being on the poorer end of the scale it makes big changes like that kinda difficult. Summer is usually one of the brighter spots of a year for me. By January I'll want to hibernate. :p
