It's too hot :(

At my parents huge house in Suffolk.
Cold here too. And windy!

Don't tell me, you just flew in from Australia and are still adjusting from all that time upside down.

Had an early-ish set off to Trebarwith, it doesn't have much accommodation and tourists have to travel so I get a free space.
Started of heavy rain then cloud then hazy sun

Can't help but chuckle at some of the statements I've seen over the last few days. 'Is summer over?' 'Where did summer go?'. Goes to show just how lucky some people had it in June. Apart from a bit more rain and heavier when it does, nothing has really changed here. Cool, check! Wall to wall cloud all day, check! Oddly blustery for the time of year, check! Same old **** for the last 3 weeks.

While I usually prefer 24c and sunny as the perfect day, I'd take 40c and sunny over this right now.

True. August is usually peak summer, we're only half way through July! Although I wouldn't be surprised to find out this is one of the wettest July's on record.

Oh I feel the same and wish it was blistering hot!

The Northern Echo have spoke to a meteorologist who says there's a chance that the UK could also hit 40'c again at the beginning of August. However once you get past the hype of the headline the weatherman actually said about 10% chance of it happening, and only a 30% chance of it breaking 30'c

I was out in the car this afternoon. It rained most of the time and the temperature never went above 17C. It looks like this whole week is going to be more of the same. My holiday to Tenerife in September can’t come soon enough

Christ its been windy it looks like autumn piles of leaves everywhere except they're green was nearly blown off my feet saturday. One brief shower saturday evening is the sum total of rainfall this week thats exactly a week after the previous one
