That's quite the thumbnail tease
At my parents huge house in Suffolk.
Cold here too. And windy!

I wouldn't have come back!Don't tell me, you just flew in from Australia and are still adjusting from all that time upside down.
Same in a lot of the US too.Seeing what's happening in Europe at the moment, I think I'll take the wet, gloomy weather, and shivering in my living room, rather than enduring 100+°f.
Can't help but chuckle at some of the statements I've seen over the last few days. 'Is summer over?' 'Where did summer go?'. Goes to show just how lucky some people had it in June. Apart from a bit more rain and heavier when it does, nothing has really changed here. Cool, check! Wall to wall cloud all day, check! Oddly blustery for the time of year, check! Same old **** for the last 3 weeks.
While I usually prefer 24c and sunny as the perfect day, I'd take 40c and sunny over this right now.
Oh I feel the same and wish it was blistering hot! Can't help but chuckle at some of the statements I've seen over the last few days. 'Is summer over?' 'Where did summer go?'. Has to be one of the wettest July's on record
The weather is crap for 11 months of the year. Isn't that enough?![]()
Welll some good news at least then! The Northern Echo have spoke to a meteorologist who says there's a chance that the UK could also hit 40'c again at the beginning of August. However once you get past the hype of the headline the weatherman actually said about 10% chance of it happening, and only a 30% chance of it breaking 30'c
