It's too hot :(

It's good for growing crops, tho. If it was all sun and dry weather like May/June, we'd starve to death :p

The keen gardeners among us will be loving this rain. Our butts were completely dry by mid-June, so it's good to see them filling up again.

I think it’s the greenest I’ve seen the garden in July. First time I’ve been able to put in new plants mid summer too.

There's a cream for that! :D

Yeah 2 months of zero rain isn't great. A. Soggy mid season July isn't ideal either.

This stuff just pushes me more and more to Emigration!

I really don't understand why anyone would be happy with this weather in summer. You'll have the rest of the year with **** poor weather, why not enjoy the little sun we have?
Agreed. The country is depressing for majority of the year and now even in the summer we’re all sitting at home because it’s wet and awful outside. I’d much rather be in the garden with a beer enjoying a lovely evening.

I guess it depends where you live. The south coast gets quite a lot of sunny weather throughout the year and it's also generally the hottest part of the country.

It’s pure selfishness on the part of those people

There's nothing selfish about it. This isn't the mediterranean, it's the UK. If you want constantly hot sunny weather you'll need to consider moving to a continent where that's the norm. Additionally I think it's just as selfish of you to want people to suffer just because you want it hot. Try sparing a thought for those with medical conditions that have made the summers of the last few years a completely miserable experience.
