It's too hot :(

I think the heatwave last year is distorting your view on UK summers - the UK average for July is 20c for most parts of England, in Scotland the July averages are 16-18c. This weather is absolutely business as usual for us
Perhaps...but then we've had no 3-5 day heatwaves with temperatures exceeding 25 Celsius and you would expect this in July...this prolonged repetitive cooler spell is odd.

It will be a colder snowier harsher winter this year in the UK. Its the first el nino year for almost 5 years and its looking like it will be a very strong el nino too. So this winter that will mean that in Canada (where I spend the winter) it will be warmer with less snow and here in the UK it will be colder with more snow.

Its a cycle, not all that unusual. El Nino years in recent times have been 2003 to 2007, 2014 to 2016 and 2018. The past few years have been a mix of mostly El Nina years with the occasional neutral year. Commonly El Nino years cause hotter summers in Europe and colder winters, so far this year its followed that pattern as normal, especially with it being a particularly strong El Nino

Yet another dull day here. 15c in the last week of July is pathetic. The only slight positive is that it's not been as wet as the past few weeks

My eyes!

It burns!!

A strange, glowing, hot bright thing has appeared in the sky!!!

We're all doomed, doomed I tell thee!

A lovely pleasant 14 c here, and the sun's out. Supposed to pour down later though, something I'm sure they'd love in southern Europe right about now.
RIP to that firefighting aircrew, a dangerous job. Apparently 10 soldiers were killed in Algeria a few days ago fighting a fire too when the wind changed and it caught them :(

Actually quite nice today and not a terrible temperature in the sun, but then heavy rain from dinner time. Saves on watering the garden I guess. Bills will be at an all time low.
