It's too hot :(

Are Met Office talking rubbish? 50% chance of hail around 1500!

It's raining again, still pretty calm on the wind front, supposed to be swinging around to a north westerly through the afternoon.

Yesterday the BBC forecast showed ~40 mph winds here for about 4 hours this afternoon / evening. This morning it changed to ~40 between 6 & 7pm. Looking out the window I don't see anything more than a light breeze. We have had a few very short downpours but that's about the extent of it. Disappointed.

Supposedly 9c outside here , inside it's 20c with the windows open close to putting the fan on

Yeh, my house was built circa 1910, not insulated, no double glazing, it's normally great in summer if it's hot, because it stays relatively cool and comfortable, but when it's cold like now, it's just cold.

Opposite for me turns into an oven doesn't even need to be that warm outside , but great for winter

I'm genuinely interested. What is your thermostat set to in the middle of winter? Water temperatures for showers? It's like you've acclimatised yourself to Icelandic weather. :D

I don't have thermostat on anytime of the year, jumper/ hoodie is enough around the house and warm and cosy duvet is enough when sleeping it's surprising how warm can get with just body heat, water is really hot but also turn on cold water to balance it out so it's just warm ;)

80s building with thick walls well insulated and double glazing

So you go through the entire winter without any heating? I think I may know why you find cool weather too warm. :D

On another topic, your energy bills must be amazing!
