It's too hot :(

Down to about 8C here, a touch chilly in my bedroom due to having the window open.

EDIT: Early hours of Tuesday it might get as low as 6C depending on which forecast is more accurate, but then warming up for a few days.

Don't park your cars at the seafront when it's going to storm

As per comments that guy sheltering behind the BMW at one point was pretty lucky he didn't get his legs crushed - at other points it was moving the vehicle around like it was nothing.

As regards no heating in Winter, i myself have minimal heating 500 litres of oil lasted 14 months last time and that's including hot water but i would be worried about damaging the house with damp (debatable point i am making, not fact) so i run an automatic dehumidifier (its only 100 watts)
Lost the gales today and looking ok so may head to Polzeath with multiple amusement activities .bodyboard (nmd 42.5 inch today i think) kindle and wireless buds for podcasts.
think a wooly jumper early on also

Well my day is following my plan, definitely needed the jumper and tbh have only got my winter wet suit so will feel like a hot bath

Just seen someone walking about with a coat and woolly hat on!

The range of clothing is quite amusing at the moment, shorts and T-shirt through to winter gear. Out for a walk a few days ago and the weather would change between each every few minutes.

This is probably quite a typical summer, we’ve just had a few anomalous summers in a row.

Windows closed, air con off, how is it august? Went out in full autumn clothing yesterday. Going to feel like a very long winter at this rate if we don’t get at least a few more sunny days.
There’s a few sunny (and warmer) days on the way.

But this is the “too hot” thread, so you can clear off with your need for sun and heat :D

And on the south coast it's windows open and fan still in use after a shower to cool myself down. Also went for a walk today in shorts & t-shirt as it was 20c outside, which is not even remotely cold.
