If you can't leave and no one can get to you, how do you either get the generator to you or go out to start it?

My patio doors came with them already on. They are effective at cutting down heat. They are slightly reflective which reflects the light away.

Make sure you get ones that can sit on the outside. Makes them more effective, and reduces the chances of blowing the seals of double/triple glazing
