I can thoroughly recommend a beautiful place in Italy I visited once called Santa Caterina Valfura that's up in the mountains, quite remote, and great for hiking and cycling adventures. It turns into a Ski resort in Winter and that's what I went there for but I've seen lots of photos of it in the spring, summer, autumn months too and the scenery is spectacular.

12-18 is ideal for me year-round and 5-10 in winter. I hate extreme heat but I hate extreme cold too and can never decide which extreme I hate the most. I wish the UK could stay mildly ambient all year with no big temperature fluctuations.

12-18 is horribly low for summer. You need at least few weeks of sunny mid 20’s or its likely a lot of people will struggle with mental health problems

Well yes. I'm fortunate to have the back of the house South-facing, so only Kitchen, lounge, second bedroom eats the sun.
is that it ? 31c inside here currently 1 hour to go home to probably 28c
That's in the shade, at floor level. I'm in full sun and I would say 28 too

Such a weird, orange heat haze this afternoon. Reminds me so much of Dubai.
