It's too hot :(

Start of September, room temp was 20-21C at night, and 22-23C in day.

Sadly its still been 25C through the night so no where near back to where it was. Its wet outside but its the heat and staleness of the air. No wind at all again.

Massive headache and sweating just to get out of bed.

Temperature outside is 18 degrees yet its still 25-27 degrees (depending on room) in my flat :( . I opened up all the windows too but lack of any wind doesn't help.

Yeah its annoying when its cool out and your inside insists on keeping overly toasty, mines not as cool as I'd like but widows open really wide last night and fan on moved the hot air out woke up this morning and was 19 from around 23 the morning before.

Yeah last night my mood was so much better, woman next door and ***** off with 9 of her yapping dogs that do my head in in summer, and could exercise without feeling like a zombie with zero energy.

I see from this we still below the jetstream (warm air mass). That explains things for me, but not perhaps for those of you who are feeling cold. Bottom of it is slightly above top of Norfolk, but moves down a very small amount by 14th Sept perhaps as low as Peterborough.

This link shows the effect in more laymens terms.

North of the UK can see temps gradually shifting as you move south but around the area where south of jetstream is they suddenly jump. My city on that map looks like its very close to getting cooler air but not close enough.

From Durham down to Sheffield only 0.3C difference, then same distance again down to Milton Keynes an extra 5C.

Regardless though like accuweather, the BBC etc. this is reporting 19-20C temps but it feels very different to the 19C on 1 Sept. My indoors is 5C hotter, and no cool air from open windows.

Room temp peaked at 26.2C down now to 25.4C so still same as before for night time temps.

However when window was open with the little bits of breeze it did feel a little better.
