It's too hot :(

For Winter yes!

I had the council over and explained that with just two storage heaters on I was using £12 by 8am in the morning nearly every day, had to have an extra oil filled rad turned on and a heat blanket. Basically I had no insulation, and the Storage heaters output flaps were stuck open, so heat by morning, cold by evening. One of the storage heaters even had broken dials under a closed off compartment.

It was hell!

Worst place for heating I ever lived in was a 1 bed flat with those electric wall heaters. One didn't work. And the other smelt of burning.
Luckily the place was so small we Just used one of those little portable blowers.
At the least the insulation wasn't terrible though.

Hope you can get it sorted. That sounds miserable and expensive.. Or are you out now?

All done in August

Wall Insulation
Loft Insulation
Solar Panels
New 2022 Storage Heaters/Convective heaters and a Towel Rail

Should've been done years ago! But done now anyway.

As for worst place, I'd have to say the same as you in regards to a Flat. It was a studio flat and in winter frost actually appeared in the inside of the window :(

Sun is out but a breeze has appeared and its fresher and cooler air out there now, room temp dropped to 25.4C.

But will hell return when sun is shining at my windows in the afternoon.
Its cooler outside theres even a breeze but inside its still stifling makes me want to knock the walls out just to get some fresh air

I've had that but not for long time 20+ years ago when we used to get actual winters with real cold and not just a perpetual wet autumn

Too hot, good riddance, bring on 20C

Yeah I agree this over the top humid air doesn't feel like summer heat to me, its not remotely fresh its just high pressured air that isn't meant to be here really blown in from a desert. Dreamy temp tomorrow though 17, OMG that will be so nice after this last week of sweating, finally get a decent kip too if this heatwave really does do one, I'll believe it tomorrow as today is still mafting.

My property was rated G with hardly any wall insulation or loft insulation and non working storage heaters. Council changed it all around summer time including Solar Panels! ( Only changed the storage heaters after many complaints by myself ). Property is now rated C! Will be interesting to see how this Winter goes in terms of keeping warm + expense.

Each Winter was hell, could see my breath while eating dinner and that was with the heating on :(
Storage heaters are useless. My ex and I rented a property with storage heaters - old ones. Couldn't control the time they heated the property. Woke up roasting hot and got home from work freezing cold. We took the decision to switch them off and invest in thick jumpers and a fan heater. Our energy bills went down a lot.

Temp risen to 26C although the air doesnt feel as nasty as yesterday now, and the measured humidity is moderatly lower, my outdoor temp I am measuring as 1.4C lower than yesterday at 28.2C (in shade is cloudy) accuweather thinks its currently 24C, way less of a drop vs what was predicted.

Wondering what Rroff comes back with on current predictions.

I am working with no top on, if I put even a t-shirt on I think I will be sweating its not over here, but just the moderate improvement.
