Just got a £49 aircon recharge at Kwikfit, garunteed for 12,000 miles.. Absolutely amazing in this weather, especially as i work in my car.

Just about finished my first job of the day and I'm already ball soup. 26c here already and I'm out in it today.

Thankfully I'm a bit more prepared than I was Saturday and have a gallon of cold water

Saturday was a gloriously hot day on the narrow boat at about 27c, with not a cloud in the sky. Sunday however was a different kettle of fish. 29c, humid as hell, horseflies everywhere but it was still a good day and my son loved it.

Last night was ridiculous. I woke up at 1am and between then and 6 when I got up I drank 1.5l of water as I kept waking up every 30 minutes gagging for a drink.

My room was like a sauna.

oh man, I would love that. Instead I shall be going for a hike in the forest of dean as soon as DHL get here(hopefully not 6pm) and will probably get through 500ml of water per mile, which means I'll look like I've been for a swim.

I miss living by the sea.

I'm lucky to have a room that's underground as the bottom floor is half inside a hill, so even in this heat its a nice 19.8C
