It's too hot :(

We've had about two months of mid 20/early 30s and about three days with any rain. It's spoiled a bit by the awful air quality and haze caused by the wildfires in British Columbia. There's been a few days where it's bad enough that you can physically smell the smoke and very occasionally see ash falling from the sky. :/

Well after a dreadful summer it seems we're now skipping autumn too. Felt positively wintry today and just think, last year on Sept 13th is was 34c......

Had to turn my central heating on for the first time a couple of days ago since around April...definite sign that winter is...well, doing what winter does.

Equinox today so now the nights will start to be longer than the days. Woke up this morning to a nice frost. Autumn is my favourite season.

It hit 30c yesterday with not a cloud in the sky. Never went above 20c today and the sun was never seen. Joys of mountain weather.

It's started to snow on the Pyrenees. Only a light dusting though, as it's gone the next day.

Not here it isn't... well not yet anyway! :(

I am still hoping to give the lawn, which is looking more like a field at the moment, its first cut of the year tomorrow!

Forecast 20C early to mid afternoon here today (Somerset) and 21C tomorrow - makes a change from the so-so miserable weather.
