I had one of these but couldn't get it to work properly on windows 7, might be different now was a while ago.

Got a Xonar now though

Sorry to go off-topic, but I have just installed Windows 7 and have a Xtreme music so was worried it wouldn't work after seeing your post. There is a driver on their site that is for Windows 7 and the soundcard is working fine. Just thought I'd let you know.
