Its a mixture of various ones being mashed up aswell as my own modifications.

Springboard theme is Suave.
Lockscreen theme is my own
SMS is Suave
Phone is Adeline

I couldn't see myself using those lock screens. Would prefer to just unlock the device :p

Well i prefer my texts and emails to land on my lock-screen where i can directly reply to them or delete them without unlocking my phone. Very handy in meetings and the like.

Lush mate, what did you use for your lockscreen?

I took some available lock-screen themes and modified them to how I wanted them to be. The end result turned out to be something totally new and fresh.

Hmm finding this a bit complicated. Have JB iPhone. How do install theme? Hmm.

Install winterboard to start off with and play around.

I must stress that WINTERBOARD can be a HOG on resources and may/can slow down your iDevice. Best to carry out the modifications in the actual iOS so that it runs smoothly but for that you need some knowledge of what files to modify/over-write and where they are kept. Otherwise you could end up having to restore!

Springboard.app
TelephonyUI.framework
Chatkit.framework

a lot of the files are kept in those folders.

Photoshop what you have there, is that all working on iOS4?

im also curious about theme resolutions on the iP4

No im on 3.1.3.
I've held of updating to iOS4.0 because most of the Cydia apps I use have not been updated or don't work too well.

I'm holding off iOS4.0 as 3.1.3 gives me everything I need and it works ;)

Seems like the jailbreaking community have had to start all over again when iOS4.0 came out so I'll let them work their magic for a few months untill iOS4.0 is fine-tuned!

Yeh thought so. I'm just gonna stick with the lockscreen, you don't see that often enough for it to drain the battery :)

Last I heard about these animated lockscreens is that they continue to run even when the lockscreen is off for a short while. They are not optimised. The same way winterboard is not optimised for wallpapers and thus its better to use BossPaper for wallpapers.

Try it and see how long your battery lasts.

When you've been jailbreaking and mod'ing like I have you pick these little pointers up :)

Can anyone tell me how to remove the iphone clock itself off the lock screen please? as with having lockinfo on it has a clock, and this is making me have 2 clocks :(
tia

there is a tweak on cydia which lets you hide the default clock on lockscreen. Cant remember the name but if you search for lockscreen clock hide you'll find it.

Question about notifications via facebook. How do you set it so you only get a notification in the lockinfo section and not that blue alert bubble as part of the iphone os?

in lockinfo you can turn those pop-ups off so you only get it via lockinfo

I think the user photoshop has sliced pieces from everywhere and pieced together his own theme via SSH.

I've never used SSH. All my modifications are done in Photoshop CS.
Like I said before, ive pieced elements from a few themes and modified them so they all work well as one rather than the individual elements looking different.
a lot of the elements are my own work. Such as the Status Bars, Dock, Lockinfo theme, Wifi Bars and a few other things.

Ah ok. Not sure what else to change, changed my provider name, theme... hmm :p

You can change UI images, fonts, clock, status bar themes etc. The list goes on!

Photoshop - on your lockscreen is that lockinfo? How on earth did you get it to look like that?

Yes its lockinfo. Its my own personal theme :)
I get a lot of requests for it but its not for release.

could you please tell me how you got your mail setting like you have on the second picture? andyour daisy brackground please :) its lovely

Lockinfo.

My setup's are no good for you guys with iPhone 4 and iOS4.0.
They re not Hi-Res.

I'm still on 3.1.3 and have no intention of updating :)

I don't think the one I'm using now is High res, the icons look pretty terrible :(

Thats prob because your theme is not optimised for iOS4.0 and its not hi-res

How did you get your lockInfo screen transparent? Mine is blocking half of my background :( Ive set the transparacy to the limit, but it still covers most

In LockScreen options:
Set Layout to Default and and move the slider all the way to the left
Set Transparency to None and move the slider all the way to the left

Anyone else not think these screenshots look horrendous?! :( Not sure what the appeal is other than making it look different for the sake of it.

Apple's UI is dull and boring! Has it changed over the years? Hardly!

I'm with you on this, totally ruins the most appealing factor of the iPhone, the UI.

See above.

What have you guys been smoking!

What theme and wallpaper is this?

Its a lockinfo theme which I created. Likewise with the wallpaper

Wow, that is lovely can you share it please? :D What icon set are you using?

Are you using notified pro?

Icon set is Suave. No, not using Notified bro - its Lockinfo.

Have to say, but the only jailbroken phone that I think looks nice in here is photoshop's. Stunning. Everything else just looks a bit tacky.

Thanks :)

Potentially stupid question, but do you need an iPhone or iPod Touch to play around with creating these themes/screens/etc?

I'm considering moving over from Android to an iPhone but I'm not massively sold on iOS itself. But if I could get something akin to photoshop's fine work on my phone, I'd be a very happy chappy.

But I don't want to buy an iPhone only to find out that I lack the requisite skills to cobble together something as slick as what our man here has.

I don't have any photoshop skills other than knowing the basics.
I don't create themes from scratch - I use the available themes and then modify them so that I end up with something new.

There are a lot of iphones themes/mods/resources out there and customisation is ripe at the moment on the web for the iphone. iPad is lacking though.

I do however have a 3GS and still running 3.1.3.
iPhone4 and iOS4 is a different beast and Apple have changed everything around and now the j/b community have to start all-over which includes all the customisation which still isn't perfect.

This is why I will not buy an iPhone4 or update my 3GS to iOS4.

Customisation for the iPhone4 has along way to go yet and people are still trying to get around the basics.

EDIT: Yes you need an iPhone - not to create but to view otherwise no point in creating.
