Jailbroken iPhone Screenshot Thread

Yeh thought so. I'm just gonna stick with the lockscreen, you don't see that often enough for it to drain the battery :)

Last I heard about these animated lockscreens is that they continue to run even when the lockscreen is off for a short while. They are not optimised. The same way winterboard is not optimised for wallpapers and thus its better to use BossPaper for wallpapers.

Try it and see how long your battery lasts.

When you've been jailbreaking and mod'ing like I have you pick these little pointers up :)

Another vote for BossPaper.

Those on the iP4, does winterboard run ok? I miss me themes on my iPhone :( I found WB to slow my 3G down too much :(

End of the day you can just do a restore back to norm state which is all good to me if it goes **** up, right I'm going to do it then have a play about tommorow!

The battery on my iPod Touch 2G is pretty crap anyway, but i'll see if the locksreen makes any difference.

Thanks :)

Do you have a guide? I don't know where to start tbh...

I like to keep my messages, notes and all that, I take it the phone can't be backed up once JB'd?

I caved in last night. Managed to get my key main apps installed before bedtime. I need to tweak stuff now when I get an hour or two by manually replacing OS UI graphics elements.

So pleased to see FiveIconDock working. It's just a shame ReflectiveDock doesn't just yet :/

Anyone got a guide to (simple) way to change your SMS tone? I've Googled, but there doesn't seem a definite easy way, or I'm just not understanding it correctly :o

I saw something that said you could use Winterboard, but didn't see any options in there so guessing you have to browse through the file structure on the device itself?

edit - S'OK, been reading up on SSH and will try it later.

Hi mate, can I ask what theme you're using?

I did mine last night but must say I'm struggling to understand it all, the free themes all look a bit awful.

Can you point me to what you've been reading, wanting to change mine also. :)
