James Randi has died

When you've got some kid going around bending spoons on TV claiming to have supernatural powers, then Randi speaks to the show's producer and simply 'advises' that you should provide all the props and not let Uri Gellar interfere with them beforehand. That's not sabotage at all it's just common sense.

Doesn't really sound that innocent:
Another was Uri Geller, everywhere Geller went Randi followed him and did all Gellers tricks by showing people it was just magic - nobody cared.
He even sat across from Geller and because Randi had changed his props slightly, Geller couldn't do his tricks.

Lol, I'd throw it away now if I were you. You're not meant to stir it like that.

(Hahaha what is this gif?!)

Of course it wasn't innocent, Randi was serious.
I really don't get your moral compass that it's OK for people like Geller to con people.
Do you live your life with this same compass, it's OK for Tradesmen to con people and so on?

For people like Gellar, as a form of entertainment, yeh no problem with it at all.

I'm also ok with the Indian guy in short circuit being played by a white guy.

The saltiest milk you've ever tasted? :p
Definitely afterwards :D

NVP, I'd consider someone like Alex Jones (the angry American chap, not the Welsh One Show beaut :)) to be a modern-day Geller equivalent.

What do you think of him and what he does?

@NVP it's me - we've already been over that. :D

Bloody stoners... :D

I think Uri Geller has a bit more brain functionality than Alex Jones

Yes, without a doubt. There a stark similarities though: they both peddle BS and hop back and forth over the line between seriousness and entertainment when it suits them.
