January Transfer Rumours

Apparently, i have this on good authority, that the Victor deal has fallen through, and that it's actually a smoke screen, for a big name right winger.

Not sure, though Victor is currently having problems with his club in regards to the final payment (contract settlement and image rights). He should be signing tomorrow accordign to reports, but not sure about the whole "smoke screen"

We'll see, he's a decent enough player, just not the right midfielder which will solve the problems

I signed him on Championship Manager back in the day as my own personal find for his stats, god he was awful. Sold him to Villa and he was class. :(.

I doubt it, word from anfield is that rafa really rates harris, so he isnt going to spend big bucks on a player, as he believes harris will be his man for many years to come.
 
I heard liverpool were on for SWP which although great as it would be, chealsea wouldent sell him for less than they paid (wasit 23mil) and we wouldnt pay anywhere near that. So if it is a smoke screen I dont know for who....

Maybe steve mcmanamen, as likely as it was for fowler to come back last week! :D

I dont think its a smokescreen for anything, we were in for SWP on loan but as far as i know we havent heard back from Chelsea at all.
 
Chelsea have refused any one else out on loan for the rest of the season.

Victor yes is moaning about his settlement for the remainder of his contract, and also his iamge rights.

If he signs tomorrow (apparently medical today, signing tomorrow) if that doesn't happen, expect a signing tomorrow near the very end of the day.

Confident of at least one more signing, if Rafa does not spend some money, then he has someone big in mind in the summer, and he's saving the money till then.
