Bristol have dropped a clanger with their handling of the Maynard situation, they were offered large sums of money in the summer for him which they ignored, they've now sold him for less than he cost them. Still I'd take Chris Wood over any of our shower so at least they planned ahead.
 
Fulham left with these strikers;

AJ - injury prone & not in the best of form
Sa - injured & new to Prem
Pogoisdfljsldkfjslkdjfsldkjflskdflskdjf - no idea how he'll settle
Trotta - 18yo and only played 8 professional games in L1

Lets hope without Bobby we can really change the formation into a dutch system with Dembele, Dempey, Ruiz and Johnson!
 
West Ham should have been signing defenders not attacking players. They lost 5-1 tonight.

My club have got some unknowner from Spurs. I hate football right now.

He's just a joke. The more you hear about his training methods too and such, it's like he plays FM and gets the assistant manager to do everything and he just signs players picks the teams.

Swapping Nelson for Bassong / Saha for Pienaar? Just :confused:

This the rumour he's on something like 30'000 and will go up to 65'000 in a few seasons / appearances.

That his agent has been paid more then the transfer fee? :p
 
Yeah what Tummy said, if West Ham are promoted the deal could be worth up to £2m, but his contract could go up to £65k/week!
 
Apparently the fee is about ~650'000 but the agent is being paid way more then 1 million :eek:

Also, agent fee was the sticking point along with Morrisons wages. Shocking.
 
If that's all true then again Fergie's a genius for playing Pogba tonight and his post match comments on the lad;

Why shocking, that always happens, can't remember who went on a free this season.... Ba maybe, and the agent fee was like 3-4 million.

Its standard, agent fee is often the same on a free transfer or on 80million, clubs just don't see it as a major part of the cost on a 80mil deal, while on a all but free transfer it seems a lot more important.

Agent fee's in football are a joke because, who needs a damn agent, West Ham agree fee with Utd, they tell him to speak to West Ham.... job done really. Seriously how they get 10% of wages + a huge fee on a transfer being done when essentially they don't do much of anything at all, great job, horrible people, seem to do almost nothing except try and make players want to leave their clubs.
 
Harry Redknapp's signing are odd, could it be he's off to prison, and trying to make life hard for Spurs! ;) Ryan Nelsen not a bad player, about 3 years ago, better than Bassong? He's played once this season. Saha WTF!

Didn't Redknapp say yesterday he was signing no one, yet signed 2 players today, had one lined up, and bid fro another player. If he lies about that, I wonder what he does with his tax bill!

I agree.

I also still think that a million + agent fee on a deal that is currently for 650'000 is ridiculous. The sticking point was wages and the agent fee too apparently. Ridiculous.

Agent must be over the moon. Morrison regardless of how well he does, must be pleased with that.

judge him at the end of the season. a little bizarre to say the least, especially as there's nothing confirmed on pav. still a little fed up with his antics though but i wasn't exactly impressed with the signing of parker or friedel either but they've both been huge improvements.
