January Transfer Window 2012/2013 Season Rumours/Signings

There's still talk of Jenkinson going out on loan. Madness if true...

That would put the cherry on the cake. Wenger said they had an offer but refused it. Maybe he plans on actually playing him. Even if its just to shake up Sagna.

We actually had a rumoured offer of £2.5m for santos earlier in year but rejected it. I thought it said we pay them that to take him and I still thought it was a good offer. Lol

I have to agree with DM. LB and RB would be brilliant and maybe a random young talent for the bench.

Bring Bendtner back and actually start playing arshavin and we might have a solid team and bench.

BBC Transfer deadline...

European football expert Andy Brassell has been keeping a watchful eye on Alvaro Negredo: "You might hear the sound of a door creaking open, as Negredo just might still get a Premier League move. His cash-strapped club Sevilla were hoping to sell Fazio to Zenit St Petersburg, but the Russian champions' move for the defender broke down over personal terms after the two clubs agreed a €7m fee, according to Estadio Deportivo. Portugal under-21 centre-back Luis Neto looks like being the alternative for Zenit following reports they've struck a deal with his club, Siena."

Excitement is rising again.

Rather strange how Delap just suddenly dropped out of Pulis' plans.

Isn't Bendtner too fat to play at the moment? :p

I don't see why Kos doesn't ever get a game over Mert seeing as he's actually capable of some kind of consistency whilst Mert on the day can be good but is, like most of our team unable to play at a good enough standard most of the time.

It got to the point that all he was offering was his throw in abilities. And I have a feeling Pulis was getting annoyed at his peers basically mocking Stoke's tactics...

AVB is either going to cry or go on a rampage trying to get Damiao.

Kos was playing, he got a red card recently though, an absolutely stupid one, I think Kos is by far the more capable player over Mert, but he still makes daft mistakes, no less than Mert who should have gotten at the very least one red card himself against Liverpool was it, and I'm sure I remember a couple other very stupid things he did where he was lucky to not give away penalties.

We could do with a CB, I don't trust Mert on any level at all and I think Kos is.... too mistake prone. Verm is getting a woeful reputation off the backs of trying to make up for others mistakes and its hugely unfair.

He was brilliant, deemed world class with Clichy in there, who himself went off to have a great season winning a title with a proper team. He got injured, came back and was with Gibbs/Santos and looked a joke at times. Gibbs is rarely in position, Verm steps up to see off the danger and makes mistakes, but only because the left back and often left winger(it was Gervinho a lot last season) were no where to be seen.

The second you have a fullback missing, any ball down either flank drags one CB out of position, and that instantly means the other CB has to try and cover the entire box on his own. This repeatedly game after game causes us problems.

I think he does want to replace Santos, but as he see's Gibbs as first team, he'll be looking for cheap, young and back up... thats not to say he won't be better than Gibbs, but Wenger won't play him. Just look at Jenks, cheap, seen as back up, he's clearly better than Sagna but Wenger has his favourites, and thats all that matters. We could sign Lahm on a free because he gets exiled from Germany and has a man crush on Mertesacker(only reason he'd ever sign for us), but if Gibbs is his favourite thats who plays.

Hleb, over Pires......., even Birmingham thought Hleb was too crap to play, and Wenger ruined the clubs relationship with a truly excellent player who wanted to coach in the future and had a few great years in Spain after he left even after another very bad injury.

Was the guy on SSN calling him Aiden McGreedy cos he left Celtic to go to Spartak Moscow for more money or was it just a mistake? Sneaky reporter. ;)

When did Willian get valued at £34m!!?

He went to Shahktar for 20mil Euro's, and has since proved himself in the champs league as being an excellent player, that his value has gone from the 20 to 30mil mark isn't surprising, factor in several clubs wanting him, anything less than 30mil and I'd have been surprised tbh.

Was about £12 mil that Shahktar brought him for, and its "£"34 mil so id say a jump of "£"22 mil not from 20 to 30 mil.

We've had a bid accepted for John Stones, matched Wigans bid and his agent is on the way to Finch Farm. Interesting, but I hope there is cash left for some decent signings.

David Beckham will not be paid for his time at PSG. Money will go to a children's charity in Paris.

Unbelievable!
